It’s November already~ Best month in the year. Why? The year is almost over, December is so near, Christmas is nearing and the time to soon reflect upon the resolutions made in January. November started off with All Saints day and All Souls day. Honestly speaking, I think I’ve been to very few All Souls day masses. Speaking of praying for the dead really makes me feel a sense of sadness. Death is something everyone would experience. I actually listened to Father Richards homily, the take-home message would definitely be to treasure Gods gift to us which is our loved ones, doing what is just would definitely bring you close to God and heaven. You dont have to be loving or caring, just just. Id treasure what I have now with utmost love.

CG ended for me already. I think it was alright and manageable. That’s it for 20% of Patholgy ^^. Time to concentrate on other modules and have the will to study. The next few days are surely gonna be fun and wild!

Lost

It’s thursday! So yeah its been work work work work work for the pass 4 weeks! 8 more to go! Frankly, working solo at the national public health lab isnt that bad after all. The people dont judge you as a group but individually. I made new french, vietnamese, china and even malaysian friends. Best thing is, on tuesday i get to work at T11A level 4 which means work ends early! Besides, when bosses are not around on weekdays, my supervisor lets me off at like 3 – 4?!?! Best supervisor in the world~ Sadly i got no pay no allowance, oh what the heck!

Being home nowadays is kinda boring. Though i dont get to study or like do anything, it all comes down to nothingness. On lappy, use awhile, sleep, wake up, go to work. Then this cycle repeats and repeats. But thank god no studying or whatsoever is done and surprisingly i miss school. Been working on my running recently, nike human race is coming, mizuno wave run is coming, poly 50 is coming. Im gona runrunrun! My 2.4 timing is improving, its hitting 10:30s and below constantly! ohohoh! Last saturday i tried a crazy route measuring 9.16km. Most cui part was mount faber, people drive up there i run up there -.- My timing was 57minutes. Kinda slow but its a first!

Okay its 430pm and I’m off work! But! Supervisor just said I can go but don’t go yet cause boss is in. She ask me go my desk slack sleep till 530
So happy! Did secondary PCR today for the first time in my life. Which means tomorrow I start work at 1030 at schoool! Yes school! To do pyrosequencing. I love my attachment. Soccer this evening. Running tomorrow evening. I love my life.

Oh yeah, the past weekend was dedicated to nike cup soccer. Yeah team cls did well with 9 points beating many teams but still not good enough to go brazil. Who cares! We kop 4 nike soccer balls, and won 6 customized nike singapore jersey!?! butttt there could be more but I ruined in. I had 2 chances to win nike freebies as the MC chose me but I screwed up the penalty kicks. YELLOW NIKE FOOTBALL autographed by fandi ahmad ;(

random thoughts

I looked out of my balcony today, wondering how you’re doing.
It seemed not so long ago when you were little and needed me for everything.
I saw a cat when I looked out of my balcony, she seemed so happy and carefree.
She was walking the roofs of other houses, in her own time stealthily.
It seemed for awhile that she was mocking me “See? You can’t give me this” and as proof,
She then proceeded to brazenly pee on someone else’s roof.
My heart felt a little better, looking at this cat from my balcony.
It was like a sign to me, that cats are happier free.
I’m happy if you’re happy and I guess that’s the way love is.

Braved it

NIKE CUP! =) 6 guys, random guys, from CLS, entered the nike cup @SCAPE last saturday, thinking that we’d have the super slight chance of even qualifying into the finals, but guess what? WE QUALIFIED! We thought we would get kicked out by those pro soccer players, like those people everyday play soccer ones. It was crazy, none like your everyday soccer affair, the rules are like no rules here. Just score one goal in 3 minutes you win. Sucked at the first few games, but impressed at the last 2 games we played, samba soccer ^^ We’re getting closer to that 4th July finals! We are going to brazil! FOR SURE! =) So come down to support us, but thankfully last saturday, we had 3 supporters, HAHAH! Thank you Ori, Gerry and bao ren for coming down.

The past few days have been raft building in maurice ling’s office, the competition is this sunday, and tomorrow the 2 engineers, kang and I are gona test it at swimming pool! WEEEE!

World cup update! Argentina are on max points after 2 games. In 2 hours they play their last group B match against greece with alot to play for. Messi would most probably start with SERGIO AGUERO like finally. We’re gona outclass, outplay greece and proof that portugal’s feat was no big deal!

Argentina this year are super strong! 6 strikers from the best club in the world are playing at the disposal of Maradonna! World’s best player of 2010 Lionel Messi is one of them! So non-Argentinian fans look out for this team cause they’re skilled! I’m so psyched! Mark your watches, it’s 10pm tonight! They take on Nigeria as their first match! Watched the opening match yesterday, I don’t think South African stands a chance against the big guns. Oh well! All i have to do now is go get the genuine 2010 Argentina jersey from Adidas. pfft!

Just had my run! In 2 week. Shagged! My meal intake for today was pathetic, one slice of cheesecake, 2 Yakults, 1 cup noodle and I ran a time of 11:59 for 2.4km. Awesome much? Anyways 1 thing made my day and another didn’t.

During my run, i had to run 3 rounds around this circuit, every round I go, I see this sort of fat woman strolling and walking and in her hand a starbuck ice blended drink, she grinned all the way as I passed her! truly truly wtf!
An uber cute small little girl was in front of me when I was cooling down after my run and she exclaimed loudly to her mom, “Mom! I don’t wanna go yet, don’t disturb me I’m sun tanning!” in her super cute voice when the time was 7.30 and the sky was black. Made my day!

Woah! It was just announced that this girl by the name of Rosie Whitley Huntington would be Megan Fox replacement in Transformers 3! HAHA! Good or bad? Megan Fox got owned lah! At least now this girl is a true female. No whatever sex change or that bull shit like Megan Fox, dont know if it’s true but who cares!

Blogging rarely, cause I’m just 1. darn lazy 2. Studies 3. anything that’s not 1 and 2. Okay today we had a dinner at Yi Wen’s house for the usuals. Food was awesome, the host was great. Xavier made me drank vodka after i lost some scissors paper stone game. 40% alcohol! Undiluted! Hot like mad?!? It’s like swallowing a piece of lava or something. My alcohol control is bad. We then headed to Henderson Waves for a chill out, it rained before and whenwe were there, one word describes it all: HUMID! Perspiring like crazy but we took many photos played games and simply enjoyed each others company (:

The picture above is one of the many pictures I’d treasure. After meeting all this people and being good friends with them in a period of just a year, the feeling is just woohoo!! And this time next year, there’d be definitely new friends and adventures that have been taken together.
Guess what? I’m the first to reach home by bus in 5 minutes ^^

Thank god i studied somewhat of medical microbio today. MST is next next week. Clinical Chem, I’m scared to death for that STUDY! ^^
